We have had them back several times for other projects. They are just wonderful. They do beautiful work, are polite and professional and the work was done on time. We are very pleased with the renovation/addition that RL Rider did for us (new bathroom, bedroom, mudroom and screen porch). The planning process was very thorough, and once work got under way there were very few surprises. Everyone on the team - Cam, Joe, Jen, Michaela, Jacob - was great to work with. Our project manager Joe was exceptionally communicative and responsive. Every concern was addressed, no matter how small the detail was. We were living in the space during work and they were very respectful and diligent about cleaning up at the end of the work day. Some delays happened that were out of their control, but overall they stuck to the timeline proposed. This isn’t our first renovation, and I was sure that once the work was substantially completed that it would take forever for them to get the punchlist done, but Joe even came over himself to finish up the last little things so they would get done quickly. I would recommend using RL Rider for any remodeling job you have. They are welcoming and flexible. They are very on top of permits and building codes. I felt safe and listened to during the whole process. The communication is a bit irregular. The prep meeting for design had constant communication but when the job started it was very hands off. I didn’t know who would be there on what day. They had a change order that they didn’t tell me about and settled it at the end of the job. It was unexpected but they worked with me and gave me a break on the price. They did an amazing job helping pick details for my bathroom! And their tiler is incredible! We absolutely love our finished basement completed by RL Rider!! Our friends and family are thoroughly impressed!! We highly recommend RL Rider!! From the first meeting to the final sign-off, we were very pleased with the entire staff and sub-contractors working on the project. Every person was very professional, kind, and respectful of us and our property, and our barky dog. Our finished basement project included a kitchenette, full bathroom, fireplace, TV living room, and bedroom. They also remodeled our master shower on the main floor. They have tried to stay within budget and succeeded. They have asked lots of questions all along the way to make sure it is what I expected. Cam and his team did a great job with our kitchen project. It was an extensive remodel including the removal of walls, revamping our floorplan, and fixing a unknown structural issue with our house. From the project managers to the guys on the crew, the whole team were constant professionals.
